"Halo ODST looks like crap. It gonna fail on its own. lol"

Halo ODST is going to fail? Really? *smacks forehead*
When Halo ODST is as big as Halo 3 and has an all new "firefight" co-op mode and a ton of multi-player maps, forge, etc and is a new HALO game, how can anybody in their right mind think that Halo 3 ODST will be anything but a success?

You PS3 fans and your arrogance. Forza 3 is strong competition for GT5, don't fool yourself. Uncharted 2 might get game of the year, because it looks like a great game, but there are a lot of really high quality exclusives on the 360 side, not to mention all the fantastic multi-platform games coming out this year.

What does the 360 have in early 2010 to compete with God of War III? Um, only two little games called Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake. Sheesh, wake up.

Those who favor the PS3 are always listing a bunch of games that nobody has heard of. Or if they have been heard of, they are often second rate games that not a lot of people are looking forward to. But that doesn't stop them from hyping them up as if they were the best games ever, ready to take on the likes of Halo 3 ODST and Forza 3.

Edit> Sure, I am getting Uncharted 2 and God of War 3. I just don't think the console as whole is as great as some of you here think. That...

I already have Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 and it is an awesome game, I don't know what you are talking about. I have a PS3 as well and I am being completely honest when I say I would not buy Ninja Gaiden 2 again just for the few added features.

Uncharted 2 looks excellent, but MAG looks kind of questionable to me. It is online only and it hasn't impressed me so far. Demon Souls could be good, since I did really enjoy Ninja Blade on the 360 which is also made by From Software, b...

Great comment, Death. I have been thinking about this subject a lot lately, with the way everybody goes on about AAA this, exclusive that. I'll be honest, one of the games I have been playing lately and enjoying the hell out of is Ninja Blade on the 360. I know it only got like a 79 or whatever on Metacritic, but I don't care, I love the game. So, I know what you mean about every game not having to be a AAA mega hit. Almost every game out there is going to appeal to someone.

Well, if you want to go into the beginning of next year, the 360 has games like Mass Effect 2 and Alan Wake. Both of which will be huge.

You mean the PS3 versions of most games trail behind the 360 versions. Get it straight.

You PS3 fanboys are so funny. You truly live in your own little world. The 360 version looks more detailed judging by those screen shots.

Look, I have both consoles and I will probably still get this on the 360. I could care less about having to switch discs a couple of times over a period of weeks that I will probably be playing this game. Big deal. I care more about how the game looks and performs and I will be willing to bet that it will look better on the 360. I also like the 360 controller better.

99% of games this gen do not need anything more than a 9GB DVD.

Games like Dead Space were reported to have been developed on the PS3 as lead and they still ended up running better on the 360. http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...

Hell, we are even receiving reports out of E3 that Tekken 6, which was created on the PS3 first, has better anti-aliasing on the 360.

Last generation the PS2 had by far the biggest install base a...

Didn't Digital Foundry do a frame analysis on both versions of FFXIII and find that the PS3 version had more slow down? I read that somewhere and now I don't remember where. I do know that the PS3 demo was found to have slowdown.

Anyway, it won't surprise me if this game looks or runs a little better on the 360 like most multi-platform games.

Wow, UFC 2009 sold less than half the number of copies on the PS3 as on the 360.
Nevertheless, good sales for that game overall.

You guys need to take off the fanboy goggles, or maybe it is nostalgia getting to you...in any case, God of War 3 did not look that good. It looked exactly like what you would expect a HD next generation God of War game to look like, nothing more. The textures and lighting are better, as you would expect on a next-gen console, but the animations and overall fighting mechanics looked mostly like they did last gen. Nothing mindblowing or spectacular and that is why most sites haven't given i...

Talltony, you're so full of it. Most sites didn't specifically rate the consoles according to the strength of their game lineups. The vast majority of sites did give Microsoft the best of show though, and mentioned their strong game lineup as one of the reasons. A lot of sites were surprised with how strong the 360's lineup ended up being.

In any case, it really comes down to what you like. I am waiting for Uncharted 2 and God of War 3, but that's about it on the PS3 side. O...

People that actually play racing sims and aren't just PS3 fanboys in disguise know that Forza has been an outstanding driving sim since it has come on the scene. Gran Turismo is a great franchise, but it hasn't really been exceptional since Gran Turismo 3. Forza and Forza 2 were better than Gran Turismo 4 and Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Forza 3 looks like the biggest jump in improvement of all of them and I think it will be the best racing sim on the market when it comes out. Whether Gran Tu...

That's one of the things I was always disappointed about in GT5P, the cars look nice but the environments were flat and lacking in detail. The trees and spectators were two dimensional and mountains in the background were usually a 2d bitmap, not 3d geometry like we see in Forza 3.

If these GT fanboys weren't blind they might be able to see that Forza 3 looks better than GT5P.

6075d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

You PS3/GT fanboys are so ridiculous. How is saying "Forza 3 is the definitive racing sim this generation" bashing PD or Gran Turismo? It's not, and you know it. It's just an excuse to act defensive and attack Turn 10 and Forza 3.

6075d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Oh please, fanboy, Forza 3 easily looks on par with GT5. In fact, I think it looks better. I have a PS3 and I have played GT5P and its cars look great, but there are quite a lot of jaggies and the environments are not that great looking. The textures in the environments look flat and unconvincing. Forza 3 looks better.

6075d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

That's strange, I thought the environments in GT5P were one of the worst things about it. The trees and spectators were two dimensional, the grass looked flat and textures in general were just very lacking. Forza 3's environments look a lot better to me.

6075d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I don't care what screen shots you show. Jaggies are most noticeable when a game is in motion. I have played GT5P and the jaggies were definitely noticeable. Forza 3 looks sharper and cleaner.

@Deviant

Please stop with your delusional nonsense. Microsoft never bashed Sony, nor did Turn 10 bash GT5. That's just BS. Saying you think your game is "the definitive racing game this generation" is not bashing GT5. The guy from Turn 10 even talked about how...
